Sock Drive Update

The SIMMS Foundation would like to thank everyone involved in Dawn’s Annual Sock Drive for the 2005 holiday season.  It was a tremendous success!

In total we were able to collect and distribute 1,395 pairs of new socks to the needy in our Valley.  That’s a lot of warm toes!!

The organizations that benefited from your generosity were: Women’s Resource Center; Poverello House; WestCare Health Families; The Salvation Army’ and Matthew’s Closet.

Thanks to everyone who donated funds, socks, and of course, moral support.  Keeping this project going honors Dawn Marie’s memory, and for that we are truly thankful!!
