Chester Simms was an early gaming pioneer of the Las Vegas valley. Throughout his life he preferred to be an anonymous benefactor of charities and education.

This scholarship memorializes his passion for the formal education he did not have.

The Scholarship will be at UNLV College of Education. Financial aid will be available to a full-time instate student pursuing a degree in Special Education. Recipient will be asked to maintain a 2.5 GPA to remain eligible.
